Welcome to the Ranch!

Welcome to the Triple C Ranch in Green Cove Springs, FL. Triple C Ranch was established in 2002 by Gary and Leigh Clark. Triple C was originally started to be our family home, have a few pleasure horses that we would use for trail riding and possibly take to the local saddle club. Nice thinking, right?

Cassidy was introduced to the sport of rodeo within the first year of moving out to Green Cove. The number of horses grew, and they weren't just pleasure horses... they became performance horses such as a barrel and pole horse, goat tying horse and of course a roping horse. In order to practice with these horses, you need to have practice stock! So, along came the cattle and the goats. We did the sport of rodeo for the next 5 years with Florida Junior Rodeo and the Florida High School Rodeo Association as well as the Georgia-Florida Youth Rodeo Association. This kept us on the road 2-3 weekends each month.

Now that the rodeo life is behind us, we simply enjoy the peacefulness that radiates in just watching the animals run free and the beauty of the scenery. Of course, fun must be had by all so a pool is a welcome addition which will bring many more fun memories to share.

Our ranch has definitely changed over the years and of course so have the critters that live here with us. The grandbabies love the animals in their own ways and find joy in different aspects of it. More on the ranch to come!

Update Finally!!

Hard to believe that I've allowed so much time to go by without adding a new post. I see my life as one continuous blessing albeit with challenges along the way. My grandchildren give me so much joy and I love watching them run about, their expressions and their accomplishments. I feel so blessed that they are close by and I can see them often.

Being blessed with an incredible family, a satisfying job that pays me and of course incredible friends - FOCers. God has truly blessed me. I hate that I've not kept my blog up to date as there have been so many monumental moments in my life as well as the lives of the people that I love, that they haven't been recorded... and yes, now that I'm 50, i'm starting to lose my mind... go figure! LOL I don't want to lose lose site of these great times.

I will say that I am so looking forward to having our pool done so that I can invite everyone over for a day of floating and margarittas in the sun... or wine if that's your preference!

Love and hugs to all... and more to follow.
